I’ve known Kristina for well over 10 years so I know firsthand how long she has waited to find a wonderful and godly man. We initially met at a restaurant in Colorado Springs where we were both single AND waitresses. It was there that she forever changed my life by introducing me to my husband (I pretty much owe her for life for that one). 😉
As we have grown, moved states and been challenged by various “life” circumstances, I have found her to be one of the kindest and most loyal people I have ever known. She is trustworthy when you need some advice or someone to count on. She is funny & adventurous when you need to have a good time. And most importantly she is encouraging when you need help seeing the good in yourself. I am honored to know her and I could not be happier for her as she begins this season of life with her fiancé.
People always say that some of the best romances begin with friendship and that is definitely the case for Kristina and Jeff. They were best friends long before they began dating. Their love grew slowly over the years with each snowboarding, boating and camping trip they took together. They got engaged this past July 4th and will be married next year.
We tried our best to plan their engagement session during the time of peak Fall colors. Thankfully it worked out for us and the Aspen leaves put on a great show. The brilliant colors were the perfect backdrop for their romantic and fun engagement session (we even had time to take some photos for Jeff with his truck).
I hope you enjoy some of my favorite photos from the session. I do not think these two could take a bad picture (which made my job easy!). Congrats you two!
Oh and special props to Jeff for being willing to assemble the chandler that was literally in pieces–yes he put together every. single. crystal on that thing! He really is a keeper!
Also a special thanks to Heidi with NuBlu Events for letting us use her beautiful couch!
