Before I was a professional photographer, I was a client.

Prior To The Session

I remember the first time I booked a session. I felt a bit overwhelmed by all the decisions that I had to make on my own: the time of day, the outfits (they should coordinate but not match??), the location, props, posing, etc. I never knew if I was bothering the photographer by asking questions or if I could rely on her expertise to make the decisions for me. I didn’t fully understand the expectations between the two of us. All I knew was that I wanted great pictures.

Let me be the first to say that I am here to help you in any way. I am happy to offer location suggestions, brainstorm or even browse your Pinterest board to see what has inspired you. This is your photo session and it is not something that you do frequently. I expect you to need my assistance. Please feel free to text, call or email.

During Our Time Together
I will direct the majority of the session with regard to posing and lighting but that doesn’t mean you cannot share your thoughts/opinions. If you have a pose that you really want to try, let me know. If you want to take some more shots with your kids, let me know. I do not want you to leave our time together wishing that things had gone differently.

After The Session
You can expect to receive your images two weeks from our session date. If it will take any longer, I will let you know prior to your session. I can send your pictures in the mail or deliver them to you via online gallery.

I will post at least one Sneak Peek picture on Facebook {or send it to you via email at your request} two to three days after your session. A blog post showcasing some of my favorite images from our time together may also post to my website after you have received your images.

*Please feel free to share your images with friends and family via social media. We only ask that you credit Enjoying Now Photography.
